A journey to Him

She smiled. With satisfaction. What a journey.

She looked at the guy who sat next to him. He was sleeping quietly like a baby. He looked a bit younger than her dad, with very sharp nose and long legs. Once a while, he would woke up and asked me whether she was feeling comfortable or not. He smiled a lot too. He wore his 'cowboy' hat during the flight as he did not know where else to put it, even when he was sleeping. He looked ridiculously funny that she could not stop smiling when she looked at him.

The woman to her right was busy watching a movie. She was such a nice caring woman. The woman would asked her whether she needed anything. The woman also told her that she was about to attend her daughter's graduation in London. Her daughter took medicine too.

She looked at the screen to check the flight details. One more hour to go.

She quickly wore the headphone and scrolled up and down the screen to choose songs. She chose to listen to Maher zain, 'Always be there'.

Always be there. Only Him. No one else would stay by her side except Him. Not her girl friends, not her guy friends. Not even her best friends.

Do you know the feeling when a person loves you and cares about you so much that you can feel it in your heart?

She could feel It. His love is so powerful. He has taken care of her since the very beginning of her journey. In fact, since the day before she was born.

She was once confused. How could the flight ticket changed by itself? Of course it did not change by itself, but the agent must have changed it, by mistake, or not. From transit to paris, to transit to London. All her friends were going to paris that very same night. For the first time, she had to travel alone. For a person who has never been on public transport by herself, it must have been a real challenge for her. Lol.

To think of it, it was a bless that the flight ticket has changed. There must be something that God wants to give to her, that's what we call as tarbiyah. Indeed, she learned something. Many things. In times of difficulty, we have to 'husnuzon' and believe that His help is so very near. He is closer than you ever imagine.

Anyway, the flight landed. The funny guy watched her struggling to carry the luggage down the cabin with her shaking hands. He laughed. She must have looked so ridiculous.

He must have thought, 'a small girl with her super heavy luggage, and yet refused to ask for any help'. Lol.

She laughed back at him and smiled before saying goodbye.

The transit in London was something else. She had to hurry as she had less time now since her flight to London has been delayed. The airport was so big that she felt amazed the fact that she did not get lost anywhere in the middle of it. Alhamdulillah. After a long procedure, she managed to arrive at the gate before it closed. This time around, she was the only muslim passenger in the flight, the rest were Irish she guessed.

And she arrived in Dublin, safe and soundly. She smiled as a man offered to bring her heavy luggage down the cabin. And another man, offered to transfer her super big luggage onto the trolley without her asking for any help. Lol! Probably he knew that the luggage weighed more than half of her weight!

Anyway, Alhamdulillah and Alhamdulillah, It was a journey full of tarbiyah, smiles, good people, and good food! Hehe. She could proudly say that she is no longer her daddy's little girl. She is all grown up now (haha bajet). Malaysia-galway ticked, she can now proceed with her winter plan. Hoho.

To my dear family, I have settled down in my new sweet home, in my very own sweet pink purple room. From the window, I could see the hill and the green field. And the blue skies. And the sun shining brightly in the morning. Across the field, up the hill, it is believed that there are Malaysian students (senior brothers) who have been living there since last year. It is time to start knowing the neighbours here, that means it's housewarming time! We would probably start distributing the invitation cards in the next two weeks time :) see you there insyaAllah, if you are invited. Lol.

P/s thanks for all the prayers, especially to my parents and grandparents. To Aleesya, be a good girl, I miss you so very much.

Can't wait for the program this weekend. See you there, people (you know who you are! hewhew) May Allah bless, insyaAllah.
