Alhamdulillah and Alhamdulillah, it is my third week in Galway. Thank you Allah for giving me the chance to see the beauty of His creation, Galway is indeed beautiful, andddd COLD, wait there's one more, andd.... WINDY. Super windy. I have always aimed that I want to go to Galway, not because of the seniors (eventhough they are super nice), not because of the uni, it's mainly because of its beauty (which is kinda a bit immature to have it as the main reason). Then, here I am in Galway, is this just a dream? Oh my Allah! After struggling for 2 years doing IB and listening stories from the seniors about Ireland, I am really here.
To my family, I am safe and sound here. My housemates are super nice, they can cook too. I am surprised by how close we are now, eventhough we were not close friends in KMB. And my AUCMS housemates (younger than us by 1 year) are very friendly and cute. Look at us. One small happy family. Hehe.

We decided that we want to have special 'panggilan' for each of us, so that we can be closer to each other, you know, like a family. Amal, at the most right side, we call her kak long. She's like our 'mak' here. Sabar dengan kteorg yang childish. Kih kih. The most left in the picture is Hasanah, we call her 'baby' , she has a innocent baby face. She's the only one in the house who doesn't eat spicy food, anddddd vegetables too. Nanti nak paksa jugak dia makan sayur :P Haha.
This is our picture during the Raya celebration at the Bailey Hall. The night before the celebration, we stayed in our kakak's house, which is a bungalow. The house was so big, that it can fit more than 20 people. There were so many food that I could not stop eating.
Hey, there's a picture of me and my M10D sisters too. It was taken after the raya celebration.
Hee, hopefully our m10d spirit remains fire burning in our heart, eventhough we are no longer in KMB. Bak kata pepatah hanis, m10d kena selalu menang. Haha together we conquer the competitions here. M10D the conquerer. Boo over je.
Last weekend, me and my friends went for Galway excursion in Castlebar, which is 1 hour and half from Galway. It was kinda compulsory for all new comers. Along the journey, we took the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of "ladang kuda, lembu dan kambing'. I met Shaun the Sheep. And his gang. Haha.

We stayed at the lounge, well there are some who stayed at the cottage. Castlebar is warmer than Galway I guess, maybe because it was not raining and the wind was not strong.

Anyway that was not my picture (as mentioned above). Our group's barbecue chicken were in good condition, tak hangus haha :P
There were various activities held during the excursion, including explorace, BBQ, picnic, talk from doctors who work in Ireland and games. It was cold, so there were always food to be filled into the stomaach, u know, to warm the body. So there were a lot munching activities going on. Anyway, look at how enthusiastic we are.

Before we head our way back to Galway, we stopped by at a museum, in which we had a picnic for our lunch.

Ooo that's it so far. There are many more places to be explored here. We have just been to half of Galway town, there's another half of it, which we have not explore. To my friends, Galway isn't as small as you think it is, and it is not 'kampung'!! Do come and pay us a visit. And we can cook for you or serve you the famous Galway food (for example Galway doughnut and caramel chocolate cake and those muffins which have ice cream inside it and many many more)which is very cheap, and fattening at the same time. See ya. Assalamualaikum.
Love,
from happyGalwaygurl.
